Happy Hump Day Ya'll!!
It's a good Wednesday here in West Texas. Today is the day that I start my little blog. Yippee! I've been wanting to for like--years. But between having babies left and right, moving, homeschooling,  and life, I keep putting it off.
Not no mo'!!!!!  Today is the day!

So, here's a not-so-brief intro...............

I'm not really normal...but kinda. I have four kiddos, their ages range from eighteen months to ten years old. I also have a husband. He's mostly an asshole, but he's been my asshole for going on sixteen years and he loves me pretty good, so I keep him.
I'm twenty-eight.... so we’ve been together more than half of my life!

We like animals around here. We are the proud owners of a funny farm! We still need a turtle or two, maybe a miniature horse, and some chicks...but we've got a goat, a domesticated wild hog, a weird cat that comes and goes, and 5 dogs.

So now you know a little about my family…. Read on if you’d like to know more!

I'm a fickle kind of girl. I change my mind all the time..... I like to call myself a free spirit.  I follow my own heart and instincts. I like to question everything and want to know all the answers. I’m totally a modern day hippie-wannabe. I guess that's what you could call me! I'm super into natural remedies. I don't like man-made medicine, unless natrual alternitives have failed. I despise the government.  We unschool our children; I don't like vaccines, and there are only a handful of them that I have my children vaccinated with... oh, and I'm a huge cospiracy theorist.  :)  So yeah, ya know.
I'm a little unconvential I suppose.
 I LOVE ESSENTIAL OILS!
I make lotions, body scrubs, chap sticks, face wash, and all sorts of stuff with my oils, not to mention all their health benefits and medicinal uses. Essential oils have become a huge part of  my life.... love em!
I HATE GMO's
I want to get my own cows! I want to raise my own food!  I do grow my own fruits and veggies--for the most part.
I LOVE GARDENING!
It all started when I went to home depot one day.   I decided to buy a few herbs to use for cooking.. just a few to start out. :)
I found these super cute little chalkboard pots that were marked down from $10.99 to $1.50!!!

I had to buy like--all of them.   I ended up with sixteen altogether….so that led to me buying more and more herbs, wanting a huge garden, and inspired me to dive deeper into my essential oil interests.

This new hobby has brought me a ton of happiness and fulfillment and led me down so many other paths, as well. Who would have thunk it?!

I believe that we are all unique, and we should relish in our individuality.  Society tells us that being different is weird. But when we stop trying to fit in, and at least attempt to stop labeling ourselves and others, that’s where true individuality and happiness come from.....

Now you know a little about me and my crazy ideals.  :)

After all….

That Time My 9 Year Old Gave Me The Bird

An old Cherokee Indian, teaching his grandson about life...“A fight is going on inside me,” he said to the boy.  “It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One is evil – he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.”   He continued, “The other is good – he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith.  The same fight is going on inside you – and inside every other person, too.” The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, “Which wolf will win?”   The old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed.” A few months ago, I told my son (9) to go take out the trash. He didn't do it. In fact, almost every time I asked him to do it, he would "forget." When I found him outside, I said: "Hey, I told you to take out the trash." He got a bad attitude. Rolle...

Hey...Let's Catch Up

Hey guys.... I know I've been somewhat absent lately, and so, I want to take some time to catch up! Before I get into it all though, I want to say thank you to everyone who reads my blog... When I first started Crazies & Daisies, I did it as a hobby and for an outlet... I never saw it going anywhere and put off starting it for years because of the fear of  judgement... and failure...and more judgement  Once it took off though, I started letting you guys in more and more, and you kept on reading. Y'all are my inspiration, and my motivation to keep writing.  So Thank You! Now for the catching up... this is gonna be deep... I don't do shallow, I suck at sugar coating stuff, and most of all, I feel it is almost a calling of mine-- to be real with people. To let them in on my messy, unfiltered, unedited life. So here goes... Life has been full of highs and lows for the past several months. One big c...
