So today I want to share something awesome with you.
Jar Jackets!
If you aren't familiar, a jar jacket is basically a little "jacket" that fits over the already awesome and versatile mason jar! These awesome little jackets are dishwasher, microwave, and even oven safe.
JarJackets was launched back in October, by #momboss Sacha, and has recently added the sippy jackets and lids to their line!

So, any who....
Let's go over this once more. A JarJacket, is a little "jacket" that goes over the glass mason jar, and included, is a non-toxic FDA grade silicone sippy lid, which fits perfectly on any normal mouth mason jar, and offers an air-tight seal, with no leakage.
Now... I know what you're thinking...
It will break.
No it won't.
Have you ever dropped a mason jar? I have...and I've never had one break.
They are made of very thick glass y'all.
Thick. Thick. Thick. Kinda like my thighs 😉
Unless your little sweetheart is using it for batting practice, or hurling it at concrete, it will be fine. It will likely hold up much better than your plastic sippies, and your child will have it for years to come.
Really.
Now that that's out of the way...on to the next point.
These cups do not leak. We have been using these cups everyday... for 10 days now, and not a drop has leaked.
Another thing that I really like about these cups...is that they are 100% non toxic, eco-friendly, and practical.
Of course, being that they're glass....no BPA.
Although I don't know a ton about BPA (Bispehonol A) I do know that for years, it was used to harden plastics. In 2008, Non BPA, became a big deal. A huge deal...
Why?
Because it can cause brain and behavioral problems, hormonal issues, and may even be linked to cancer. That's just to name a few of the many risks of this chemical, that was in our plastics for years.
Although most bottle and child cup manufacturers have steered away from using BPA in their products, BPA has NOT been completely eliminated.
You can read more about the risks of BPA by clicking HERE.
Better safe than sorry, that's what I say!
Glass is better.
Now that I've induced the fear factor in you....lets just get back to business and the happy things I love about these cups...❤
Perhaps my most favorite part..... no parts. Just the good ole timeless mason jar, a silicone ONE PEICE NON-LEAKING LID, and the JarJacket.
How many sippy cup parts have you lost in your child's lifetime????
How many times have you organized your sippy parts, thinking it would help with the disappearing act? How many times have you actually taken all those parts apart, or cut into your double-walled sippy...
And if you have--girrrrrrl-- be honest, what did you find?
MOLD JUICE, anyone?
Unless of course, the only cup you've ever used for your sweet little dearie is a mason jar, wrapped in a JarJacket!
The lids for these cups, are clear. NO parts. NO surprises.
The cup is made of glass...clear. NO surprises. No mold. No BPA. No nastiness hiding.
Just an honest mason jar, wrapped in a cute little jacket, with a nice non-leaking one piece silicone lid.

What more do you need to know?
These cups are great.... there is nothing to not like about them! They are durable, safe, cute, and will grow with your child.
JarJackets sippies... get you some!
